Don’t Tell Mama is versatile, entertaining, and engaging.  The best dance / party band all around.  This 11-piece band exploded onto the Dallas music scene in 2006 specializing in all the fun music that everyone grew up with an extensive catalogue of music featuring favorites from the current hits to the  classics dating back to the 1960s. Covering a wide range of genres, including current Top 40, Pop, R&B, Funk, Disco, Rock, Latin, and even a little Country here and there.  With the smokin’ DTM Horns and 6 of the most remarkable lead vocalists that the entertainment world has to offer, Don’t Tell Mama is top tier for your entertainment needs.  The true joy, dedication, and passion of performing is evident in their performances when you experience them live.  

Through consistent hard work, our focus has always been to create an awesome sound that is true to the ear.  The band takes pride in providing “Live Music”.  Don’t Tell Mama is one of the last of its kind, in the DFW market, by performing its entire show without the need of pre-recorded music or “backing tracks”.  We are committed to this art. Yes, there is a difference in a live vs. tracked performance. Clients experience a true “live” sound, and a “live” performance as their musical experience unfolds with this group of talented musicians.  Therefore, clients get what they request… Live Music!
